A great family! We went to coffee & pitta house last night for a family birthday meal. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We booked a table but they still had plenty of room for walkins on a Saturday night. We shared a couple of halloumi and a couple of 'honey it's feta' for starters, the kids loved the halloumi, beautifully grilled and served simply over lettuce. But the 'honey it's feta' was something else! Lightly battered and deep fried (we assume), then drizzled in honey, the feta goes light and fluffy - it's the best cheese starter I think I've ever had! The rest of food filled the table and was as good value and well cooked as the starters! We all ordered from the Go Bigger menu section and boy did they! The portions are huge for the price! You can't go wrong with anything chosen from the menu - just make sure you turn up hungry! Someone on a table next to us had the mixed grill for 2, between three with a couple of starters and it was more than enough for 4 people, we are definitely trying that next time!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Great experience with great food! A Filton gem! I went to Coffee and Pitta house for my birthday meal with some friends (10 in total). I have had one takeaway and one done in meal previously so knew it was going to be good and on this occasion, certainly didn’t disappoint! I booked via messaging on Instagram as they no longer seem to have an active website. Replies were pretty quick! The food was fresh and delicious and really good value. The portion sizes were very good, particularly for the price 😊 all of my party loved our food! They were also able to accommodate 2 members of the party who are gluten free. My partner bought a cake along and gave it to the kitchen. They bought it out with lit candles (we provided the candles) when asked and played happy birthday over the speakers. They also cut it up and bought us all out a piece on a clean plate- a small act but really helped us feel valued as customers 😊 we also didn’t feel rushed during our visit and were able to take our time chatting and eating. Overall a lovely experience 😊Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

So tasty! Stumbled across this little gem at 6pm on a Monday when visiting my son at UWE. We were the only customers but I’m sure it gets busier later. The food was absolutely yummy - really tasty fresh ingredients. Very authentic. Family run business. Nice to visit somewhere that isn’t a chain. Can’t wait to return!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()
